RV & MOTORHOME
TOWING

A motorhome carries its weight high and long, and it is full of plumbing, wiring and cabinetry that a bad tow will tear apart. It is not a big van. Hadley moves Class A, B and C motorhomes, fifth wheels and travel trailers with medium and heavy-duty equipment and drivers who have done it before. Call: (562) 692-3793.

Motorhomes Move Differently

High centre of gravity, long wheelbase, air brakes on the bigger coaches, and a house full of systems behind the cab. Get the hookup wrong and you don't just damage a bumper — you crack a frame or wreck the interior.

What We Move

Class A diesel and gas coaches, Class B camper vans, Class C cab-overs, fifth wheels, travel trailers, and toy haulers. Running or not. A non-running coach is routine — that's what the winch and the right lift points are for.

The Right Truck for the Coach

A small Class B might go on a heavy flatbed. A 40-foot diesel pusher needs a medium-duty or heavy-duty wrecker with the boom rating to lift it without twisting the frame. Tell dispatch the length and class and we send the right one instead of guessing.

Air Brakes and Driveline

Bigger coaches have air systems that lock the brakes when pressure drops, and drivelines that must be disconnected before a tow. Our operators handle both. This is exactly the step a general-purpose tow truck gets wrong.

Breakdowns Where They Actually Happen

The Cajon corridor above Fontana eats motorhomes — the grade is long, the coach is heavy, and cooling systems give up. The 15 north and the 10 through the Inland Empire are the other two. Our heavy iron is based at Fontana and Whittier HQ.

Storage While You Sort Repairs

RV repairs take time and parts. Our gated, camera-monitored yards at Whittier, Fontana and Orange hold the coach while you wait — see vehicle storage.

If It's Gone Over

A coach off the shoulder or on its side is a rotator job. See rotator recovery.

Why Hadley

  • We own every truck. Hadley drivers, Hadley equipment, Hadley dispatch. Not an app, not a dispatch network — your call is never farmed out to a stranger.
  • Family-owned since 1952. Three generations, the same yards, the same phone numbers. See why that matters.
  • We show up with the right iron. The truck we send is sized to the job, because a job worked with the wrong equipment costs more than it saves.
  • Insurance approved. Covered tows are billed directly to the carrier and cost you nothing — see insurance-covered towing.

RV & Motorhome Towing — Frequently Asked Questions

Can you tow a Class A motorhome?
Yes — including 40-foot diesel pushers. We use medium and heavy-duty wreckers with the boom rating to lift the coach without stressing the frame.
Will towing damage my RV's house systems?
Not if it's done right. The risk comes from wrong lift points and skipping the driveline disconnect. Our operators handle air systems and drivelines as a matter of course.
Can you tow a non-running RV?
Yes. Non-runners are routine — we winch and lift from the correct points.
Do you tow fifth wheels and travel trailers?
Yes, both, running or not.
Where do you store an RV while it's being repaired?
Gated, camera-monitored yards at Whittier, Fontana and Orange, with documented intake and release.

Which Branches Run This

RV work runs from Fontana for the Cajon and Inland Empire grades, and from Whittier HQ for LA County.
