MOTORCYCLE
TOWING

A bike does not belong on a dolly and it does not belong in chains. It belongs flat on a deck, on its wheels, held by soft straps through a chock. That is how we move every motorcycle, every time. Hadley trucks, Hadley drivers, since 1952. Call: (562) 692-3793.

Soft Straps, Never Chains

Most damage to a towed motorcycle happens at the tie-down, not on the road. Chains and hard points crush fork seals, bend levers, and scratch tanks. We use a wheel chock and soft straps that pull through the triple, not across the paint.

What We Move

Cruisers and baggers, sportbikes, adventure and dual-sport, trikes and Slingshots, scooters, vintage and custom builds, and anything mid-restoration that doesn't run. Running or not — a non-runner just gets winched.

Flatbed Only

Bikes ride on the flatbed. No dollies, no towing on the rear wheel, no improvised rigs. That's light-duty and flatbed towing equipment doing what it's built for.

Customs, Baggers and Show Bikes

Wide bars, hard bags, ape hangers, and custom paint all change how a bike gets strapped. Tell dispatch what you're riding and we'll bring the right chock and enough straps rather than improvising at the roadside.

Down on the Canyon Roads

The canyon runs are where bikes go down — the Angeles Crest, Ortega, Carbon Canyon between Fullerton East and Chino Hills. Narrow shoulders, no room to work, and often no cell signal. Our light-duty trucks work these roads regularly.

After a Get-Off

If you've come off the bike, the tow is usually the least of it — and if the accident was covered, it costs you nothing. See accident towing and insurance-covered towing.

Why Hadley

  • We own every truck. Hadley drivers, Hadley equipment, Hadley dispatch. Not an app, not a dispatch network — your call is never farmed out to a stranger.
  • Family-owned since 1952. Three generations, the same yards, the same phone numbers. See why that matters.
  • We show up with the right iron. The truck we send is sized to the job, because a job worked with the wrong equipment costs more than it saves.
  • Insurance approved. Covered tows are billed directly to the carrier and cost you nothing — see insurance-covered towing.

Motorcycle Towing — Frequently Asked Questions

Do you use chains on motorcycles?
Never. Soft straps through a wheel chock, on a flatbed. Chains crush fork seals and wreck paint.
Can you tow a trike or a Slingshot?
Yes, and a Can-Am. Wider stance just means a different chock setup — tell dispatch what it is.
Will you tow a non-running or project bike?
Yes. We winch it onto the deck.
Can you move a custom bagger with ape hangers and hard bags?
Yes. Tell dispatch the bar height and bag width and we'll bring the right straps.
Do you pick up from canyon roads?
Yes. The canyon runs are routine for our light-duty trucks.

Which Branches Run This

Motorcycle calls run from whichever of the ten branches is closest — Fullerton East and Orange cover the OC canyon roads.
