This is the busiest commercial freight region in California: the 10 and the 15 cross here, the warehouse belt runs from Ontario through Jurupa Valley to San Bernardino, and above all of it sits the Cajon Pass — a long sustained grade that cooks brakes, kills cooling systems, and puts rigs on their sides with grim regularity. The Cajon is the hardest road we work, and our heavy-duty operation sits at the bottom of it.
